15.01.2022 As part of our Invictus Wellbeing program, Year 9 has been learning to identify their strengths and skills. Using these, they have found ways to make a difference in our school community through service. This included helping with learning and electives in Primary, refereeing in Primary sport, sorting and building toys for Prep, and assisting with graduation events, landscaping, construction, and maintenance. Thank you Year 9 for how you have enriched our community this term!

13.01.2022 As part of our Invictus program, Year 9 students are learning about their own wellbeing and contributing to the wellbeing of others. Recently, some of our students spent a day of service at Soul Cafe Newcastle, which offers hot meals and other support services to disadvantaged people in Newcastle and the wider Hunter community. Our students helped with serving lunch to cafe guests and cleaning up after the meals. The students did an amazing job. Reflecting on their experience, they said they were surprised by the extent of need in our region and incredibly impressed by the range of services on offer and the dedication of the volunteers at Soul Cafe.
