25.01.2022 Hi all, we now have someone who will be running our junior blaster program. The program will be starting in the next few weeks! We are still trying to get the active kids voucher up and working as it’s a bit of a confusing system but hopefully tonight it will be done Thankyou

19.01.2022 Hi all, our Super 8’s Competition starts this Friday at 5:30pm!!! This year we will be doing a winner and loser bracket ensuring everyone plays a few games. Below is a photo of how the draw will work and here is a list of the teams and their numbers Game 1 - Friday 22nd... The Tin McFrothins vs The Wombats at Yulong 1 Game 2 - Friday 22nd Blood, Sweat and Beers vs Marauders at Yulong 2 Game 3 - The Slappers vs bye Game 4 - Friday 29th Peking Ducks vs Yowies Yulong 1

19.01.2022 With only 1 more round remaining here is a little recap of the year for our teams. We currently have 2 teams playing in grand finals this weekend!!! If you are in the Newcastle region this Saturday ( weather depending ) feel free to drop in the support one of the most successful clubs in Port Stephens! C3’s play at novocastrian oval while the C4’s play at Thomas Percy oval!... B1’s once again had another successful year with finishing 4th to make the semifinals for the 10th year in a row! Sadly they were defeated in the semis after playing the top side. C3’s had an amazing year. In fact, it’s the first season in many many years they haven’t forfeited a game and managed to finish 1st! They smashed the semi finals and booked themselves a place in the grand final this weekend! C4’s also had a great year on finishing 2nd securing yet another final appearance! They managed to overcome a strong side last weekend to advance to the finals this weekend! C5’s sadly didn’t get the results they were after. At the start of the year they lost some of their strongest players from past season to other sides but still went out fighting with many new players and first time players standing up an improving their game.

Sorry about the delay but we had to wait to hear back from Cricketnsw We are still after someone to organise and run the program which will be done on a Tuesday afternoon starting from 5pm. We finished on 10-263 and managed to keep them down to 82 Top performances were... 03.01.2022 Hi all, we will be starting to organise our weekly Friday night Super 8’s competition For all the new players this is the basic run down. - indoor cricket rules but played outdoors... - teams of 8 but can have up to 10 players with two people being selected as batting players and the other two as bowling players. - batting pairs bat for 4 over each - a wicket is -3 runs and change of strike - first two overs of batting pair only 2 players allowed outside center circle. Last two overs there must be 2 inside center circle. - wides and no balls are only rebowled in the last over of each batting pair an are 2 runs. - can not score behind the stumps unless it’s a bye or keeper drops it. - boundaries are brought in, 6’s are classed as 8’s - no lbw unless 100% plumb - keepers and bowlers are only allowed a run up and keeping distance of 6 steps - have to run on the 3rd delivery Games go for about 1:30hr to 2 hours. Fees cost $5 per game which include a feed and drink after the game. Please comment below if you would like to enter a team and list the players so we can begin to organise it Only thing needed is a registration form to be signed to be covered by our insurance. ALL AGES ARE WELCOMED FROM 8 years old to 99!!!
