07.01.2022 March 7th 2021 Sydney Social Dancefest This event is for anyone who would like to dance no matter their level of experience We are currently in discussion with the Society of Australian Teachers of Dancing to see if we will be holding this event this year in a COVIDSAFE manner... At the moment we are looking for any interest from the Newcastle/Hunter/North Coast area. The event covers the following styles Modern, New Vogue, Latin,American Smooth, American Rhythm and Argentine Tango If you are interested please reply or if you require further information please message Have a good weekend

05.01.2022 Upon the resumption of class the following restrictions must be followed by all in attendance: 1. No-one showing symptoms such as a cough, runny nose or any other flu-like symptoms, is to attend classes. (Should anyone showing any symptoms arrive, they will be isolated until they are picked up) 2. To ensure maximum numbers are not exceeded in the class at any one time, classes will be split and prior bookings are essential... 3. Everyone is required to sign in and out and provide their mobile phone numbers for tracing purposes. (All people are encouraged to download the COVIDSafe app for additional tracing purposes.) 4. People must not gather immediately outside of the hall and to exercise physical distancing at all times 5. Hands must be washed/sanitised immediately before and after attendance 6. Dancers are to : Bring their own water bottle and towel, if required Arrive dressed in dancewear ready to start 7. Dance classes and socials will not involve any physical contact and social distancing will be applicable. Household contacts are not required to distance 8. Masks and gloves may be worn if desired 9. Use of toilet facilities is to be kept to a minimum We will be monitoring to ensure social distancing and cleanliness requirements are met Hard copies of these house rules along with our NSW Goverment registered COVIDSafe Plan will be available at each class.

03.01.2022 Hi Everyone We hope you are all well and looking forward to getting back into some dancing. We are able to hold class and social events with 20 people, but couples have to reside under the same household, so we are going to have a Social Dance on the 11th July at Medowie. Due to the restricted numbers bookings are essential so it will be on first call basis so be early to avoid disappointment. If interested please call Gary 0413084581 Both beginners and Intermediate classe...s will resume from the 21st July 7:15 pm Beginners 8:15 pm Intermediate Classes will run as per school term with different Dances each term Beginners will be Cha Cha, Slow Rhythm, Evening 3 step and if time allows Jive Advanced Class Tango 44, Lucille Waltz, Cassias Quickstep and a look at American smooth We both think that will be enough stress on you all after the long forced break we have all had for the last few months So if you are ready to get going again give us a call because bookings are essential as we can only have 20 to class as well as Social Please see Facebook Medowie Social Ballroom Site for all COVID 19 rules Social And Class prices remain the same as last year $10.00 per head per Event We do hope to see you for class and the Social soon See more

01.01.2022 Hi All Our Christmas dance on the 12th is fast approaching and we are happy to say that we are able to have more dancers attend If you would like to enjoy a fun night of dancing, socialising and great music and friends please contact us so we can add you to the list Looking forward to seeing everyone and having a super fun night ... Oh yeah maybe pack some of those gold coins we might do a fundraiser again with closest coin to the bottle choosing the recipient and getting to take that special bottle with them
