13.01.2022 A year ago I was asked to assist my colleagues in the Solomon Islands prepare for COVID-19. I was privileged to work with this dedicated group of volunteers that stepped up to face a serious and unknown threat in their country. With limited resources we worked on a response to look after their community and minimize their exposure. A year on they have managed a quarantine centre and moved numerous cases safely and without incident. The entire team deserve the respect of the worldwide EMS community and a medal from their government.
