25.01.2022 We are now sold out for our Opening Night! However, if anyone wants to see the gallery we will be opening it on Sunday morning from 930am to 1230pm where there will be a family music performance and morning tea. 22.01.2022 Alannah is a radiographer who enjoys painting wildlife and whatever is sitting outside her window. We are so happy to be displaying her contributions in our gallery, bringing the total number of artists to 10 and the number of works to over 60. 21.01.2022 We are very privileged to have such a talented artist as Lynn Sioson presenting her artworks at our gallery opening night on the 25th of October. Lynn is a registered nurse and emerging visual artist. Her work is primarily 2D visual arts, with a particular interest in female and self portraiture. She's inspired by the highs and lows of the human condition, and loves exploring the capacities and dualities of people. Lynn wants the duality and complexity of her subjects to inspire a sense of self-acceptance and inclusivity in her audience.

14.01.2022 We had a fantastic Opening Night! A sell-out crowd saw fantastic artworks, heard great music, ate delicious food and listened to an inspiring talk from Beyond Blue ambassador Clementine Hartson. A big thank you to all the artists and Next on the List for their amazing jazz music on the night.

09.01.2022 We have yet another artist joining us for opening night! Isabella is a radiology nurse who uses watercolour and creates digital art. She uses her work as her inspiration and wants people to be able to look at her art and see snapshots of her life and relate to what she has created. We look forward to displaying 6 of her works in our gallery. 09.01.2022 We have been asked to provide some events for families (singles also welcome!) and we are delighted to have such talented musicians run a music wellness event at the gallery on Sunday. MedXChange does not profit from the sale of tickets to our events.

09.01.2022 Dr Chris Ellis will be rounding out our list of artists and photographers for opening night. Chris is a travel photographer whose photographs will focus on Nepal and Cambodia, with themes of family and spirituality pervading his works. He joins 9 other artists presenting over 50 works on opening night. Not to mention the Jazz band, fantastic food and drinks, and our talk from a Beyond Blue ambassador. 08.01.2022 We are honoured to have Sydney-based photographer Christina Ng presenting at our inaugural art gallery. Christina Ng is a Sydney based pharmacist and landscape photographer. When she is not passionately educating about quality use of medicines, she is enjoying adventurous explorations of places near and far, and capturing those moments. She is continuously inspired and awe struck by how breathtaking and soul soothing nature is. The theme for her submitted artworks is called "Flow". 07.01.2022 MedXChange opening night is shaping up to be a cracker! In addition to 6 artists presenting their work, Dr Michael Neale and Dr Paul Bennett will be leading a 7 piece jazz band Next on the List. They will be playing toe-tapping happy jazz from the 30s and 40s mixed with some more recent hits from the jazz world by Jamie Callum and Norah Jones among others. Classics such as Fly me to the Moon, Ain’t Misbehavin, and Don’t get around much Anymore together with ballads like Misty and Cry me a River are sure to put a smile on your face. 50% of the tickets have been sold or allocated, so hurry up and get yours so you can join us for a night of art, food, drinks, music and networking. 05.01.2022 What a thrill to have Dr Kevin Hellestrand displaying his photography in our art gallery! Kevin is a consultant cardiologist with a passion for diving and underwater photography. He also gives talks to the Navy on the medical effects of scuba diving, and he will be giving a presentation on opening night about his photography and travels, along with a quick overview of diving medicine.

03.01.2022 MedXChange is about wellness in the health profession, and we are proud to have a speaker from Beyond Blue with us on our opening night. Clementine is a volunteer speaker for beyondblue, a national organisation that works to raise awareness about anxiety and depression, reduce the associated stigma and encourage people to get help. She became a beyondblue speaker to shed some light, understanding and thoughts about anxiety and depression. She is here to tell you that life is worth the long fight.
