24.01.2022 A severe storm tonight (11th Feb). We ended up closing early due to power outage. We hope that everyone affected by the storm are OK. Sorry to those who turned up at the shop but didn't manage to get any food. It was impossible to cook in the dark :) and too hot to cook without the exhaust fan on. 24.01.2022 #seriouslydelicious Char Kway Teow. It is a very popular noodle dish in Malaysia (and other parts of Asian countries such as Singapore and Indonesia) for breakfast and lunch... and dinner... and late supper, if you must! It is a flat rice noodle dish, stir-fried with egg, beansprouts, green shallots and your favourite protein in our "special dark soy sauce". It doesn't have the traditional ingredients of 'blood cockles' and chinese lap cheong (fatty sausage), but it is still seriously yum! Not as saucy like other stir-fry noodles such as our Hokkien Mee or Plum sauce noodle dishes. It is meant to be drier. If this hits your taste bud, then come on over to Mee Goreng Noodle Bar and give this a serious go. ;)

24.01.2022 Closed for a day! We will be closed for lunch and dinner on Saturday the 14th of December, 2019, as we will be attending and then celebrating ... one of our sons (Max) university graduation. A proud moment for us - we simply cannot miss it! We will resume trading on Sunday the 15th of December, 2019, from 12:30pm to 2:30pm and then 4:30pm to 9:00pm. 24.01.2022 Hi everyone, Our takeaway noodle bar will remain OPEN as usual. As part of Covid-19 prevention, tables will not be available for dining purpose outside our shop until further notice. ... It is best to place your orders over the phone and pick up at the designated time. When in-store, our in-store menu will not be available, however we do have menu on the board for viewing. Or you can view our menu on our Facebook through your phone or PC. We are currently updating our menu, so there will be no takeaway menu available for the time being. While waiting for your orders, we encourage you to stay outside the shop, keeping at least 1 m apart from others, and we will call out your number when ready. 23.01.2022 Another customers' favourite! CURRY LAKSA SOUP - standard mix of chicken, BBQ pork, prawns and fish cakes. But if you like seafood, we can do that too! Don't like seafood? We can do chicken laksa or vegetarian laksa. What do you prefer? Our curry paste is specially made from scratch - and with love! It's mild, but we can make it hot if you like the extra bite. What say you? Want to give it a try?

23.01.2022 The take-away menu! Ah!!! They are finally here. Don't forget to get yourself a copy. There are just a few little changes to a few dishes (name & ingredients) as well as price change to a few dishes. Also, due to an increasing number of Vegan requests, a few of our sauces have been made suitable for Vegans. You'll see them on the menu. With our dishes, you are allowed to choose or change the meat, noodles, and/or veggies to your preference. However, there may be an extra ch...arge incurred. Ask us for more details. Some noodles cannot be changed. For instance, the Char Kway Teow dish: the 'flat rice noodles' cannot be changed to e.g. thick egg/hokkien noodles. "Kway Teow" is "flat rice noodles", so the noodles gotta stay according to its name . Have a super great day, y'all!

08.01.2022 UPDATE (30th Mar): It looks like our new menu will not be ready by the end of March due to printing issue/delay. We are now hoping for the 2nd week of April. Meanwhile, old prices still remain as it is until our new menu board is up at the shop. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NEW MENU: As some of you have noticed and have been informed, we are currently revising our menu (which will include changes to our pricin...g and pack deals). We anticipate our new menu to be available end of March (if there are no hiccups). Once our menu is finalised, we will update our online menu (both on our Facebook and our official website) and print out new hard copies in store for you to take away.
