24.01.2022 May is going to be an all time exciting month up here @ the Meelon Jersey Creamery as it’s birthing aka calving time. Pleasantly surprised to find our big baby girl’sPenny udder coming along nicely this morning- it could be a be earlier than we thought !!!

21.01.2022 So excited and thankful The girls and baby pepper have headed north to Serpentine for a staycation to find some Henry love . Thanks Jennifer Pirrett and Mychelle Jeffery for making this happen.

21.01.2022 Spring is in the air. It’s a busy time of the year, girls have returned all loved up from their cowcation with Henry the jersey bull and milking is happening albeit slowly. Cheese production is kind of happening too. This precious little specimen is blue vein. A huge amount of work goes into making just one little .

20.01.2022 All fun and games at the MJC dairy today. Penny doing really well coping with all this new mothering& milking. I’m so relieved she’s coping with being hand milked for the first time. Lots of amazing colostrum. Pepper is in colostrum heaven.
