25.01.2022 Sensational prizes up for the winners in all these grades. Great food included in the price. See you there.

23.01.2022 Just a reminder of a couple of up coming events. This Saturday is the qualifying round of the Ron Trease knockout. Next Tuesday is the Sth gippy classic at meeniyan ideally if you are planning to play it would make it easier if you could let Lloyd Hemphill know so he can organise the field prior to the day as it is a shot gun start. And Saturday the 22nd of march is the Ken Bartlett Memorial Day which is a mixed day and a important day on our calendar so would be great to see a big turn out. Thanks all.

09.01.2022 Sorry to report that the Golf club was broken into last night. Nothing stolen just more damage. Wish they would get the message that nothing of value is ever left there and stop breaking windows to get in. Volunteers operate and run our club and we don’t need extra jobs cleaning up the mess left behind. Lock up your cars and possessions thieves everyone.

06.01.2022 Hi all, At an emergency meeting held today the following decisions were made for the members of Meeniyan Golf Club in the light of the COVID-19 outbreak and its rapid spread within the country. The Victorian government has shut down all pubs, clubs and licensed premises as from today. Therefore, we are forced to close the Clubhouse and no golf competitions will be run at Meeniyan Golf club. ... At present, individuals may play golf on the course but must maintain the recommended social distancing, use their own equipment and not congregate afterwards. The club cannot supply carts, buggies or clubs. Private carts cannot be shared as this would compromise the social distancing rules. Green Fee players are welcome to come and play under the same conditions. Payment can be made either by cash into the honesty box or preferably through their bank’s PayAnyone facility using the Club’s email address as the PayId. As the situation evolves, we may be able to safely organise some official competitions, but not at present. We will continue to maintain the course with our volunteers who must comply with strict conditions regarding touching surfaces and cleaning of machinery before and after use. There are opportunities for all our members to safely occupy themselves out in the open doing various outside jobs around the course. If you would like to be involved and volunteer some time, please contact Will Bullock (0427 647 511), Sue Hoskin (0429 932 467) or Brian Erving (0421 222 220). We have a list of jobs that can be completed by individuals. For example picking up sticks or various other tasks. Veronica & Will - Co-Presidents
