22.01.2022 Friends - Today we are making Elderberry Jam ....from tree to jar the total distance is 10 metres. The fruit is about 3mm in diameter, so it was a bit fiddly picking 2kg worth. A little tip - freeze the clusters first ! Elderberries are particularly rich in flavonoids, which are responsible for their deep purple (almost black) colouring. These powerful antioxidants work to keep the immune system strong and resilient.#sambucol#elderberry
