While children cant be expected to fix someones problems, they can be encouraged to listen to what their friend is saying, show they care and tell a teacher, school counsellor or trusted adult if they are worried about their friend. Sharing Stories is an exciting initiative that builds community connections, celebrates diversity and promotes early literacy. Collaborating with The State Library of Western Australia, Connecting Community for Kids and Multicultural Futures, we are in the process of translating the book "Baby Ways" into an array of different languages. We were delighted to receive these pictures from t...he first Translation Session! Over the next few months the work will be checked by the Office of Multicultural Interests! Exciting stuff, great work team!
