22.01.2022 As a child, I was envious of my mother’s in the lines’ colouring technique and the way you could not see the start and stopping of her Texta lines. She was slow and meticulous. I cherished this time together. Even now, one of my favourite activities to share in with the girls, is colouring in. I love how meditative it can be. I enjoy choosing the colours, the engagement with my child and way you are forced to slow down so you don’t go out of the lines. When I came across ...Lyra pencils very early on @melbournemuseum it was a love affair. Colouring with these pencils is so satisfying! Around the same time, I created a handy little pencil roll and drawstring bag for each daughter to carry their pencils and a book in.
