This pretty young lady was one of the first dogs that we sponsored back in March last year, and luckily she was fostered by a professional photographer, so we were lucky enough to get some top quality shots of her She now lives near parks and a beach (which she loves!) with a married couple, an older daughter and a big 11 year old Cocker Spaniel sister

23.01.2022 Little Harley has been adopted Harley was adopted by a young couple who have an existing four year old chocolate Labrador. Together they live in the suburbs with large secure back yard. Harley loves his walks, lying on the couch with mum and dad but mostly, he loves his fur brother - they are inseparable. Harley’s adopters were looking for a friend for their existing dog and as soon as they met Harley, it was love at first sight. We hope seeing a dog go from having a rough ...start to life, to finding their forever home like little Harley warms your hearts as much as it does ours You go little guy, you deserve the best!

23.01.2022 Roxie has been adopted! Roxie was adopted by a young couple who have an existing dog. A few days after adopting her, on a family walk, dad proposed to mum with both dogs in hand! Together they live in regional Victoria and have a lovely yard to play. They are also perfectly located near walking trails and the beach. Roxie loves cuddling with her new furbrother and getting into mischief. Roxie’s adopters were looking for the final piece to their family, as well as a best mat...e for their current dog. Roxie and her brother connected instantly and haven’t left each other's sides. Thank you to everyone who has been supporting us in any way these last few months! It’s thanks to all of you that we are able to do our part in helping Roxie on her journey from being a homeless hound to finding her forever family. 20.01.2022 Introducing Roxie! Roxie is a 7 months old Great Dane cross. Roxie was surrendered to the Mildura Council Pound by her previous owner because they didn't have time to invest in her. She was in a skinny and scared state. This young girl has her whole life ahead of her, with the help of our supporters she has been given a second chance.... Roxie is being fostered by a big family made up of mum, dad, four kids and two resident dogs. She loves to cuddle on the couch with her three year old human foster sister. Roxie is quite definite and vocal as to when she should be getting meals and who should get prime position on the couch! Roxie is going to grow into an enormous girl so she needs plenty of space to run and play. FFAR are insisting that she be rehomed with a dominant male dog so she can learn her doggy manners. She is great with kids of all ages and will need a family that are willing to enrol her in dog training. With a little love and investment, she will blossom into an awesome dog! You go Roxie! 16.01.2022 Nina has been adopted! Nina now lives with a family of four made up of mum, dad and two daughters. Together they live in suburban Melbourne with a nice backyard and lots of nearby parks. Nina has developed an extremely strong bond with her new family. She loves following her dad around and getting cuddles in her new sisters’ beds at night. The family was instantly drawn to Nina because she had the same name as one of their daughters. They loved the sound of her sweet nature and thought she would fit perfectly with the girls, which she has! You go girl You deserve the best

15.01.2022 Introducing Roscoe! Roscoe is a 2 year old Staghound x wolfhound. Roscoe was found wandering the streets of Mildura. He spent days waiting for his owners to come and get him but they never arrived... At the same time, no one showed any interest in adopting him. Due the the big hearts of the FFAR, they couldn't possibly leave him to face an unspeakable fate. With the help of our supporters, he is now safely in the care of FFAR.... Roscoe is being fostered by a couple in a share house in busy Brunswick. Someone is always home so he receives lots of attention. His foster carers describe him as affectionate and snuggly. He absolutely adores his people. Roscoe is a total food hoarder and will immediately bury any bones or treats he’s given in the garden! Roscoe needs a dedicated adopter who will continue with his training and teach him that the world isn't such a scary place. Ideally someone who is home more often than now. Buddy loves going for runs at the local park and lazing around on his own outdoor couch in the sunshine. His adopters decided it was time to add to their family and they were searching for a four legged running companion. You go little man! You deserve the best

14.01.2022 Little Griffin has been adopted Griffin was adopted by a lovely couple, one of who is retired and often at home. Together they live in a lovely suburban home with a yard for Griffin to sniff and explore. He loves going for walks and the enjoying the company of his humans. Griffin’s adopters lost their previous dog last year and felt it was time to share their home with another pooch. They chose to rescue as their old dog was a rescue too Without our incredible supporter...s, we could not have offset the costs needed for @foreverfriendsrescue to rescue Griffin and find him his forever family. You go little guy, you deserve the best

10.01.2022 On this day 24th of February 2020, we sponsored Ivy Ivy was found wandering the streets and was taken into the Wentworth Pound. When no one came to claim her, she was declared a stray. That’s when @foreverfriendsrescue stepped in and placed her into foster care. Within a few weeks a forever home was found for her. ... Ivy now gets to spend her days in the Yarra ranges with her new family and fur brother (swipe ) A journey from being a homeless hound to finding love in a forever family is truly a beautiful thing to witness, and this is all thanks to our supporters! 09.01.2022 Introducing Chevy! Chevy is a 4 years Bull Arab cross. Forever Friends rescued Chevy from the Ballarat Animal Shelter. She had been surrendered by her previous owners because she continued to escape from their yard. This was due to her being left alone for long periods and rarely walked. With the help of our supporters, FFAR were able to bring Chevy into their care where she would receive lots of TLC.... Chevy is being fostered by a couple who live in Torquay. They take her for lots of walks on the beach and shower her with the love and attention she deserves. Chevy is a sweet girl who loves carrying her stuffed toys around the house. She follows her humans everywhere and her favourite place to hang out is the beach! Chevy wants to be the center of her human's world so would prefer to be an only dog and live with someone who is home more often than not. She is a big girl and needs to stretch her legs so will need a large yard or an adopter will to take her on long daily walks. Oh and a home filled with lots of stuffed toys! 06.01.2022 Introducing Harley Harley is a 13 weeks Bull mastiff x Labrador (not 100% sure!) Forever Friends rescued Harley from the Mildura Council Pound. He was all alone and they are unsure why he came to be there. They brought him safely into their care, albeit underweight and suffering diarrhoea.... Harley is being fostered by a huge family made up of mum, dad, two kids, two resident dogs, two resident cats and two resident Guinea pigs! Harley adores them all but can't understand why they all won't play ball with him! Harley is a gorgeous boy who loves attention and playing (especially tug and war) but also loves cuddling and sneaking on the bed when he can. He has developed a cheeky habit of stealing the toilet paper! Harley is very active and needs a home with another dog to play with and learn from. He is going to grow into a very big boy so he needs a home with plenty of space. Harley is a clever boy and a fast learner but will definitely need to go to puppy school as his excitement sometimes gets the better of him. We believe Harley already has an adopter lined up! Doesn’t take long when your so little and cuuuute You go little guy, you deserve the best!
