23.01.2022 Gratitude for I have... Fresh air... Nice customers with hot cups of tea...... Lovely scenery... Stable work during this crisis... A job that allows me to indulge my addiction to buying things from hardware stores, and a business that seems to fund this behaviour. 18.01.2022 Foolish is the man who builds his house on sand ... unless it's on Mega Anchors Sadly the family shack on this sand dune burned down as a result of a deliberately lit fire two seasons ago. The Mega Anchors we install here will provide the new "shack" an incredibly stable, engineered footing, with a fast turn around at an extremely competitive price. The pile test we conducted onsite reached "practical refusal" point at a little over 3m.

16.01.2022 More Mega Anchor footings installed... and just in time for a Monday delivery of 2 pre-built 20ft container homes from 'Tassie Containers' at Bridgewater These engineered footings were a less expensive, faster, easier, and more stable alternative to concrete pad style footings. The load ratings are 30kN or around 3 tonne each, and will have an expected life span of 50+ years in this environment.
