16.01.2022 Get many calls Day and Night from people that don't have power - here is what you need to do! First try and reset the safety switch, if that doesn't work turn off all your circuit breakers and main switch and try turning the safety switch on again. If this doesn't work call me - If the safety switch resets then turn on the main switch and each circuit breaker one at a time. if the safety switch trips when one of the circuit breakers is turned on then leave off that circuit br...eaker and reset the rest including the safety switch. Then find out what is not working and don't just turn off the switch on the power point also unplug it. 9 times out of 10 the problem isn't in your wiring, it will be an appliance. if its been raining check the rain water pump and septic pump/aerator as these are common or extension cords left on the ground,(unplug them) Most times you will atleast get most of your power back on, if not then I will come out and see what I can do for you. I will gladly talk you through it on the phone from the comfort of my warm lounge chair but will come out if you have a problem. Remember, if the offending power circuit is turned off, then it can't do any damage and won't burn your house down while you are asleep. See more

16.01.2022 Hope everyone is staying warm and dry and have had their Flues cleaned and smoke alarms checked. Common to have issues with safety switches when its wet (usually something left out in the rain without a cover, like a pump). Don't try and dry your clothes too close to the fire and clean the lint filter on your clothes drier before you use it. Consider upgrading your switch board if you are still using rewireable fuses to circuit breakers with safety switches.
