19.01.2022 Megalo is EXTREMELY excited to announce we will be launching our 40th Anniversary exhibition The Return of the Archive on Tuesday 1st September. The exhibition features work from the Megalo archive that spans our 40 years of operation. The 33 artists involved have had a long standing history with Megalo and in addition to their works, artists have written about their unique experiences at Megalo. The exhibition will be on display in the Megalo gallery until the 30th November if you would like to view the works in real life. Due to our Covid-19 restrictions viewing of the exhibition will be 10 3, Tuesday Friday and accessible by ringing the bell for entry. In addition we will also be producing an online catalogue that will feature the works and text included in the show.

14.01.2022 Artist-in-Residence \\ Sophie Quinn Melbourne artist Sophie Quinn recently visited Megalo for a residency, spending four weeks here to experiment with new techniques and materials. While she was here, Sophie worked across intaglio and screen printing, shaping copper plates for etching and layering marks, colour and different print processes. Here's a few photos of her time here in the studios.
