Bridie comes highly recommended and is qualified in Dry Needling for those of you who find this a useful adjunct to treatment, She is also Pilates qualified so is able to help with Clinical Exercise Rehabilitation. Bridie completed her double degree at RMIT Bundoora. Her love of sport, particularly basketball and AFL, is what drew her to the career of Osteopathy. She is pas...sionate about working with patients of all ages to help them reach their goals and get them back to what they love doing. Bridie has developed an interest in headaches, jaw pain, lower back pain and sporting injuries and uses her skills in hands-on techniques, as well as postural, exercise and lifestyle advice to assist in pain management and prevention. She employs a range of soft tissue, manipulation/mobilisation and stretching as part of her treatments and is qualified to use dry needling. Following a briefing for Allied Health practitioners by the Health Department on Thursday, the current situation is that we are encouraged to remain open to assist people in pain and to alleviate any stress on GP clinics and emergency for musculoskeletal complaints. As previously mentioned, all our hygiene procedures are strict and involve spacing of patients so only one person is present in the waiting room at any given t...ime, surfaces are wiped down after every patient, including handles, pens and treatment benches. 04.01.2022 Important Clinic Update for Stage 4 BUSINESS NOT AS USUAL!! Under the new DHHS regulations for all Allied Health, patients are now only permitted to attend for treatment for URGENT conditions. Routine or maintenance treatment is NOT permitted.... This means that you must be in serious need, and that your condition would likely significantly deteriorate without treatment. We will need to call you before your appointment to ascertain this, and may advise you to reschedule or see your doctor instead. As a result, Osteopathy will be available for only limited hours over the coming weeks. We are contactable by email at [email protected], and phone messages will be checked as well. We are always happy to offer you advice, and assistance where we can. Remedial Massage is not permitted under any circumstances and thus Julianne is on leave for the duration of Stage 4. Clinical Nutrition is only available by Telehealth, and can be booked via the website. We can offer contactless free delivery on (within a 5km radius of the clinic) any products we sell as part of your health and wellbeing- we have pillows, heat packs, Fisiocrem, Magnesium spray and bath tonics, spiky massage balls and grippy socks for home exercise.
