23.01.2022 I have had so many things going on at the moment. Kids, homeschooling and appointments. Today I had one of many appointments for Madilynn. We had a lengthy conversation about how she is going with speech and language skills, as well as seeing how she interacts with her siblings and myself and others. As she was all over the place with her skills some things she is at a 6-7 month old stage and others she is 9-10 months then she has a few areas where she is at a 13month old le...vel. So we now have extra appointments with speech, physio and OT as well as the dietiain. The speech pathologist suggested to start doing some simple sign language to try and get madilynn to interact and communicate more other that just yelling and screaming.

12.01.2022 Madilynn playing with her food. She made a huge mess. As Madi has some allergies and intolerance to alot of foods she has not had a very good experience with food. So we are having food aversion so part of our feeding plan is to let her play and explore her food which is letting her try to feed herself, playing with her hands for some fun and enjoyment as well as a little sensory play as well.

06.01.2022 Madi today playing peek-a-boo in her cot. Then had 2 spoons of natural mashed potatoes for lunch. coconut milk icecream we had after the potatoes. She dropped it on the floor and cried so much the nurse came in and got her some more. With extra brought up from the kitchen to eat later. (really the only thing she will eat here)
05.01.2022 Haha who would win this fight? Madi and Alaina clash alot in many different aspects. Alaina isn't very fond of Madilynn touching her things or even being near her at all. They fight over who is going to hug mummy. Madilynn is very smart and rough if she doesn't like something she very quickly learnt to pull hair and hit the others.

04.01.2022 Poor Madilynn and I have been stuck in hospital for a few days and will still be here for a few more. She has been diagnosed with failure to thrive and speech and oral motor delays. Most of this is due to all her allergies. We are now trialing different foods to try and figure what the exact allergies are to figure out what we can do as a meal plan that doesn't upset her to much so we can hopefully start gaining weight. As she is just on a soy formula currently due to a cow milk protiene allergy. They are happy for her to say on as much formula as she wants so she can at least maintain her current weight. But doesn't look like we will be going home until she gains Abit of weight and they are happy enough to have a meal plan.
