24.01.2022 For over 100 years, luxury rail has been the classic way to travel. Is it time to experience it for yourself, in our own backyard? [email protected]

22.01.2022 The future looks a little brighter this week I have had a gentle trickle of enquiries from clients needing assistance to get themselves or their family members to other parts of the world. I'm delighted people think of me when they need help with anything travel! Next up, bookings some holidays again! #mtatravel #togetherintravel

21.01.2022 I feel very lucky to be living in Australia - if we have to be stuck in one country, what an amazing country to be stuck in! Where's your favourite place to visit in Australia?

19.01.2022 I’ve had a bit of a clear out (thanks, social isolation!) and got a huge stack of brochures that are out of date or will be before we’re travelling again. If anyone would like some, for inspiration and future planning, home schooling, arts and crafts or anything else please let me know! I’m happy to drop off in the Toowoomba area. Meg

16.01.2022 Happy International Coffee Day! I'll be honest, every day is a coffee (aka survival juice) day here, but I'll happily have an extra cup in celebration today #mtatravel #coffeeday

13.01.2022 "An Almost Patriotic Duty" Tourism Minister Urges Aussies To Holiday Here This Year. I know it's hard to plan too much while the borders are still closed, but even staying local will help. Exploring and spending a few tourism dollars in our own State will help the tourism industry which has been decimated by this shutdown following on from the bushfires. [email protected]

12.01.2022 The last Qantas 747 said goodbye to Australian skies with this Flying Kangaroo...so cool!

12.01.2022 One of my beautiful travellers shared these stunning pictures with me today from when she first fell in love with Italy...aren’t they amazing? I miss travelling vicariously through you all

10.01.2022 I'm back I haven't been anywhere exciting obviously, just a nasty bug that had me sick in bed for the whole of last week. It's taken me a while to recuperate, but I'm back on board and ready to go! Just a quick update for you. Refunds are starting to trickle in now. There are a few outstanding ones I am still chasing but it seems they are all on their way. It's been a slow process that I've had no control over, so I'm hugely grateful for the patience and understanding everyone has shown. Onwards and upwards!

10.01.2022 I came backpacking through Australia back in 2002 (...how was it 18 years ago!) and remember how amazing it all seemed, particularly the diversity of the landscapes and the wildlife. It's easy to forget what an incredible place we live in. While the international borders are closed, we should all take the opportunity to explore and appreciate this vast sun-baked land we live in!

09.01.2022 Happy Fathers Day to all the amazing Dads out there, and especially to this one who has done so much to keep me sane this year

08.01.2022 We know things are going to change...is this what travel will look like in 2022? There are some amazing inventions out there!

06.01.2022 Happy International Woman's Day! If you can find a way to spend the day in a hammock at the foot of waterfall, just do it, you deserve it!

05.01.2022 For over 100 years, travelling by luxury rail has been the classic way to travel. Is it time to experience it for yourself, in our own backyard? [email protected]

05.01.2022 Just a little reminder that there are worse places than Queensland to stuck while the borders are closed. I'm dreaming of this 6 Day Whitsunday Island holiday on Hamilton Island, with breakfasts, resort credit, transfers, island shuttle and day trip to Whitehaven Beach. Any one else want to join me? [email protected]

05.01.2022 Congratulations to both New Zealand and Fiji - both now declared Covid-19 free!

04.01.2022 Another step closer to ‘normal’! Queenslanders have done an excellent job of complying with all the restrictions and keep Covid numbers low...now (soon) we can head out and explore other parts of this spectacular country

04.01.2022 Hopefully it won’t be too long till we can get back to the beautiful Sunny Coast...and a hinterland hike would be the perfect way to spend a cool winters day

03.01.2022 Another world class destination in Queensland - World Heritage listed Fraser Island. You can enjoy the iconic sights with the comfort of resort living with this stay 3 pay 2 night at beautiful Kingfisher Bay Resort. PS I believe they are are almost fully booked for the September school holidays already! [email protected]

02.01.2022 R U OK? A simple question to spark meaningful conversation, and especially relevant this year, which has been so touch on so many. #ruokday2020 #WithYouAllTheWay #mtatravel
