05.01.2022 {I’VE GOT A BIT OF A FAVOUR TO ASK OF YOU...} For those who don’t know, Sunday is my first Mother’s Day since I lost my eldest son last year. To be honest, I’m not coping at all emotionally in the lead up to it. It’ll be the first anniversary of his loss on Tuesday next week (11th) so it feels like a double kick in the guts. I’ve made a pact with myself that I will perform a random act of kindness in Logan’s name on each and every holiday. Easter saw me pay for the car behind... me in the drive thru, and I’m coming up with other ideas to get some happiness spread. Here’s where you come in. Can I ask that next Tuesday, you do something nice for someone? It doesn’t have to cost a cent, just tell someone that they look nice or give a random compliment if you like a strangers outfit. Whatever it may be, be the reason why someone smiles. We live in a really tumultuous time at the moment where nothing is promised. It’s really bloody hard to see light at the end of those bad days and I just think if we share some positivity, we can lighten the load, even for a moment. And trust me, giving a smile makes you feel pretty darn good too Megs x
