24.01.2022 Here are the printing progress shots of this print. The last 3 photos show my originally intended background color which is ultramarine blue, which I decided that it didn't work. Truthfully this was much harder to print than my previous print, as the natural textures and colours that waterbased, hand(baren) printing produce did not aid in "Psychedellickiness" as I was hoping this print to be. Not to mention 4 colors and no black. Perhaps what I wanted is something I can achieve in the future as I gain more experience. 17.01.2022 Woodblock Monoprints MOTHS II I have a new print. Moths II. These are a bit bigger, 30cm x 30.5cm, and 4 blocks, 4 colors. Hand printing with watercolor does not work out like Photoshop, so this one was challenging. Variable Edition, due to background printed with freehand brush strokes, making these "Monoprints." 14.01.2022 Here is another blue critter spotted here in Australia. This is commonly known as Blue Dragon, or Blue Glaucus, and it is a species of nudibranch. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glaucus_atlanticus They are blue because they actually pray on Bluebottles (on the 2nd photo), and yes, they will sting you with the same stuff they accumulate from blue bottles, maybe even more concentrated. So DO NOT TOUCH no matter how pretty they look.
