19.01.2022 2 more big pieces of old machinery from our warehouse have hit the road this afternoon for their new homes. With all this space we are freeing up, we are really looking forward to our shipping containers of goodies arriving. Pity there is industrial action at Australian ports this week, which has delayed the vessel carrying our precious new shipment. But on the positive side, it gives us an extra week to make everything ready for us to unload the shipment into the newly or...ganized warehouse. We had a delivery today, of some much needed stock, which always makes the MEI team jump for joy. This morning, we were also jumping around trying to explain to the delivery driver that yes other semi-trailers could definitely reverse into our driveway. 09.01.2022 MEI Marine Equipment International Pty Ltd how often have you read our posts and seen us say MEI Specialise in sourcing unusual and hard to find parts. Checkout our photos of what we recently supplied to a mine site. I can hear you say what’s so unusual about a company called Marine Equipment supplying a couple of tinnies? ... Well firstly we tend to supply parts such as pipe, fittings, brackets, flanges etc. in our day to day dealings, not actual boats. And secondly, some of you may be questioning why a mine site would need some tinnies and no it’s not so they can treat their staff to a bit of fishing in their lunch breaks (well as far as we are told). Mines tend to have large dams for raw water, as well as mine water (water that has been used in the process of mining) and need to be able to navigate these dams. MEI also supplied this mine site, with all the life jackets, bailing buckets, bungs, oars and heavy duty dry bags they required. 05.01.2022 There are some very interesting things happen at MEI at present. Least of all is this truck getting completely stuck in our driveway and disrupting all the traffic.
