10.01.2022 For quite awhile I have been wondering whether it was a good idea to share these images with the world. You see I have a personal mission to bring love, light and laughter to the world. I want to be a beacon of joy rather than add to the darkness in any way. Nor do I wish to trigger anyone who is feeling any of these emotions. Maybe they aren't really that powerful for anyone else but me. For me these images contain a lot of emotion and were created for a uni assignmen...t on a topic very close to home; abuse. I have decided to share them for two reasons: 1. Because I am proud of them and proud of myself for being able to complete them and the class they were for despite the challenge, and; 2. Because I also believe in being a voice in this world that tells people it is ok to feel these emotions. It's ok to struggle and be down sometimes. To let people know that they're not alone in feeling these ways. I want to be a voice of light in this darkness to say that despite the darkness, despite the struggle to see your way through, there is hope, light at the end of the proverbial tunnel and you are never alone. I extend my hand to you. Let us help each other through. Be well my friends.

07.01.2022 My first One Minute Moment of 2021. I came to recentre and refocus my mind before I begin my forays into creativity for the new year as well as to gather inspiration - which you will see in a subsequent post. I believe its necessary to take time out for yourself amongst the muddle of day to day, even just minute to stop, listen, breathe and just be. Finding yourself once more amongst the adventure of life. ... 03.01.2022 Anyone else see a little spot while out and about in nature and imagine little worlds? Surely not just me! This is far from finished work on progress sketching on top of one of the photos I took on my recent beach trip. The big rock you see in this pic is actually only a couple of metres wide and about a metre tall but I instantly imagined a rock-carved city. ...
