25.01.2022 Made this little cake topper for a lady that came into the local craft store and couldn't find one for her sister's 50th Wedding Anniversary. As a customer standing next to her I decided to have a go and she was amused that I thought I could but agreed to let me... This was the result and she was delighted. I was decidedly proud of myself and thrilled that she would use it!!! A great success for all concerned.

10.01.2022 This was just yesterday the making of a mixed media Christmas card. I am a bit obsessed with Mixed Media at present and decided to practice small with bits and pieces I already had amassed in the Craftroom. (It is honestly a ton!!!) I wanted to incorporate a few typical card techniques like heat embossing and inking the edges but to put the elements together in a collage/ mixed media direction. Was quite happy with the way it turned out and had been dying to use some old Stampin' Up glass glitter for a vintage effect which lent itself greatly to the Kaisercraft vintage skaters image from a year or so ago. Please let me know what you think or any ideas for another project. Thinking I may tackle a canvas next and I dearly want to try my new Tim Holtz Distress Oxides and /or alcohol ink backgrounds....

10.01.2022 This was a card I came up with last year for Christmas. I wanted to use some of the millions of twigs that lie under the eucalyptus trees at the front gate. I loved the simplicity of this card but definitely NOT one for posting!!!

08.01.2022 The "ALICE" banner that I made earlier this year for our baby granddaughter in Lady Cilento Children's Hospital. She had open heart surgery with some pretty horrific complications and spent 108 days there as a result. Just to keep up spirits and personalize the room I handmade a name bunting banner in a mixed media/collage style.
