25.01.2022 {THIS IS US} For those of you who are familiar with my struggle to get my own family in front of my camera you will know just how special this photo is and how much it means to me. Last weekend we were due to trek out on a little photo adventure with my tripod and remote in tow, only to have Mother Nature decide to burst my bubble with super crazy winds-there was no way I was dragging everyone out only to end up with crazy wind swept hair after spending so long talking the boys into it in the 1st place! So yesterday was THE day! I have spent many years capturing moments for many others and am much more comfortable BEHIND the camera, but now I am so excited to have an updated family pic of my own for our wall. <3

06.01.2022 Right at the very end of a session the other day, as we packed up to go home I spotted this tree. I have seen it many times before but for some reason on this occasion I stopped and really "saw" it for the first time. It gave me an idea. Shelise didn't have to be asked twice, up she went masterfully climbing up until she found a perch that she could stand up and look out across the water. There is something about this photo that I just love. I think it is a combination of t...he sense of adventure that reminds me of climbing trees as high as the branches would allow me as a young girl and also the way that the branches jut out in different directions, creating a unique silhouette against the evening sky that just makes my heart smile. My love of silhouettes has been well documented for a long time now... and this may just be one of my faves.... See more
01.01.2022 Tonight we celebrate our son Jett's Year 6 graduation. It only feels like yesterday it was his first day of Prep, a day filled with excitement and some nervous butterflies for all. Over the years it has been so special to have him come home with exciting stories to tell about the things he has learned and the friendships he has made-most of which have stuck with him throughout his entire school journey. He has been so lucky to have amazing teachers to guide and support him a...long the way too. We couldn't be prouder of him. Whilst it feels like a really big chapter is closing, this is really the beginning of a grand new adventure for him and for all of us, so I am excited to see what the next few years bring. Congratulations to all of the Graduates of 2020 (both those in Year 6 and also Year 12), in particular to this guy and his fellow Year 6 grads. Enjoy your night kiddo xx See more
