24.01.2022 A NICE Mirand heifer from Tatoo Stylist who is out of Glauco Stylist that is also due in a couple of days to Dempsey. The Glauco is a maternal sister to the Winmar from our previous post. Loving this cow family!!

24.01.2022 Thanks to the Cohuna show committee for giving us the chance to get our girls dressed up for yesterday's NW All Australian Qualifying Show. It was great to have Les Bennett as judge, Les did a great job with an excellent standard set by the exhibitors. We had two of our three entries place with Altitude Lass placing 2nd to a very nice heifer from Glynyari Holsteins. Melaleuca Moovin Dharma (pic) had a very good day with Sarah Lloyd doing a great job on the halter winning her class and finishing HM for junior champion. Thanks to Erin Ferguson and Sarah Lloyd for your expertise preparing our heifers.

14.01.2022 This weekend we hit the show scene. A bit disorganized, plenty of borrowing gear and seeking help from others, we were a part of the Echuca feature show 2019 and loved it!! Our entries were: Melaleuca Control Stylist in the Snr 2yr... Came 2nd in her class and Clydebank Alonzo Stylist Snr 3yr A 3rd place for her. They won 1st place for a group class, both being progeny of one dam.

13.01.2022 Our first born and bred heifers here at Melaleuca are coming in. These 3 are hopefully carrying imported Sidekick embryos from Freurehaven FGS Lucy!!

07.01.2022 This is quite an achievement!! At 6.4yrs Clydebank Winmar Stylist VG 85pts has just had her 5th natural daughter from just 5 matings. Her Alonzo is an 87pt 2nd lact. On Farm Challenge NW winning 3yr old. Her Control went VG as a 2yr old and came 4th as a Snr 2yr NW OFC. Her Lauthority is due to sexed Chief in September. Her Impression is 12 months old and looks like she might have a big future for us. Then this morning she has gone again and had a heifer by Triple-hil's Wilonna Whiteout. Stylist is backed by 8 VG and 1 EX and in her last lactation she did 10500lt's and is up to nearly 38000lt lifetime. ( Winmar is a Shottle x Clydebank Integrity Whynot 89pt)

06.01.2022 "Not many backbench MPs get a slot on prime time TV," I was told. So I took the opportunity to talk about all the things most of the Australian media don't want... to know about on Alan Jones Sky News Australia show last night: Politicians secretly owning water with NO obligation to disclose their water rights. Destruction of Australian family farms at the expense of large corporate foreign agribusinesses. Private traders making millions on the misery of farmers as so-called environmental flows are sent down the river. Simple policy changes ignored by government that would save farmers. Flow on effects to health and education in rural communities. . Many thanks to Alan Jones and Peta Credlin who genuinely care about what's happening to rural communties for giving me a voice. Watch
