22.01.2022 Interesting info from this weeks NGIV Tree & Shrub growers meeting - Black polypropylene pots and other things going through your recycle bin generally aren't recycled because the computers they use to sort the material can't see them! When you bring them back to us, if we can't re-use them, they go back to our pot supplier and are made into new pots!

While we're all glad we weren't picking flowers in Yesterday's rain, there are some spectacular flowers out this year. 19.01.2022 Diplarena moraea was starting to flower at the Prom today. This native iris is also known as Butterfly flag. We have these available in 7cm ($4 each) and 14cm pots ($8 each). Suited to well drained soils in full sun. Excellent as a mass planting. We are presently open Monday - Saturday, 9am to 5pm

18.01.2022 Weeding our garden today and I noticed seed pods on our Viola hederaceae! We have this gorgeous native ground cover with purple and white flowers is available in 7cm pots at $4 each. The plain white flowered form 'Snowflake' will be available in 7cm pots after Christmas. We are open normal hours until 1pm on Thursday 24th December. We will be closed 25 - 28 December. Re-open 9am 29 December.

16.01.2022 This form of Prostanthera melissifolia has goregous pink flowers and a strong minty aroma. Getting to 3m tall and 1.5m wide it is ideal for a narrow part shade / full shade spot. $8 each in 14cm pots.

14.01.2022 Kennedia prostrata is back in stock! This iconic groundcover species is local to large parts of the country including Bass Coast Shire. Does best in a well drained partly shady spot. It has many red flowers from late Winter to Summer. $10 each in a 14cm pot.

14.01.2022 Grevillea 'Mount Tamboritha' is one of these grevillea varieties that have been around forever. When you see it like this (in the garden at Eyes and Optics by Malcolm Gin Wonthaggi) it is easy to see why! Heaps of pink and white flower winter and spring. This plant would be 30cm high and 1m wide. These are available now for $8 in a 14cm pot.

13.01.2022 Rhodanthe anthemoides 'Star Shower' is another one of our $4 7cm beauties at the moment. They aren't quite in flower but will be profuse when they are. The foliage is also nicely scented, giving them the common name 'Chamomile Sunray'.

07.01.2022 Albany Daisy isn't actually a daisy but a relative of Darwinia and Verticordia. They are an excellent low shrub for a partly shaded spot in Sandy soils. We have ordered more of these gorgeous Actinodium for delivery this week.
