21.01.2022 Wow!!! I love being a colourist my profession is so creative and the molecular structure of how colour works in the hair is a surprise and a wonderment on so many levels. Colour isn’t just about slapping some colour on your hair and presto, perfection!... A passionate colourist takes time and waits and watches intently at what needs to be added just as an artist paints their work over days or weeks. I would like to thank Paige for allowing me to transform her dark chocolate coloured hair to this beautiful silky honey blonde. Paige thank you for your time and patience the result was stunning!!!

09.01.2022 Dear Valued clients and community, I ask you all for your advice and to open up a discussion on Hairdressers working in these very difficult times with Covid 19! As you know the Government and WHO has allowed hairdressers to still operate.... As a sole trader and due to working alone I have been personally able to implement very high hygiene levels and disease prevention protocols to make my space safe . I’m also able to monitor where my clients work such as nurses/aged care and to make sure I implement the appropriate social distancing between those clients. With only booking clients whom are not working and staying at home during a six day period. Also I send a generic confirmation text as the one displayed below; Hi name confirming your appointment on Friday at 9.30am? I kindly reminder with the Covid 19 pandemic I kindly ask you if you have any symptoms or are unwell that you please reschedule your appointment. Also if you have traveled overseas or interstate I please ask that you reschedule. Thank you for being understanding Kind regards Melanie Ferriere I also am limiting myself to four a clients a day with personally gowns/towels etc Please know I’m doing everything and more to maintain a healthy and safe environment! I also encourage if you have a loved senior at hone it’s probably best you reschedule at a later time when things are better and safer. I will continue to support my local economy and community the best and safest way I can during Covid 19 and well after it has gone! I would also like to ask for any feedback and suggestions on what I have just mentioned and also your thoughts on hairdressing salons still operating.
