25.01.2022 This is a really important point that even some professional trainers overlook. Do keep it in mind!
23.01.2022 Info for pet professionals
22.01.2022 This is a great summary if your dog is getting on a bit. I love the quote at the end ‘We don’t stop playing because we grow old. We grow old because we stop playing.’
22.01.2022 Just to vary things a bit, what are some dog enrichment ideas that don’t involve food?
20.01.2022 Join this online protest with me so I am still able to enjoy training native animals in a few years! https://www.acf.org.au/plushie_protest
19.01.2022 This is a great summary for puppy owners. Also check out my free socialisation video lesson here on my Facebook page.
18.01.2022 For anyone feeling frustrated with their teenage dog - I know there are a few of you!
18.01.2022 Lockdown tip #2: If you live with other people, remind your dog it is ok to be left completely alone by all going out to check the mail together and leaving your dog inside. Or take the bins out together (preferably wearing hilarious costumes).
16.01.2022 Lockdown tip #3: Set up a device (somewhere it can’t be eaten!) and film your dog while you walk around the block or take your 1h of exercise. Make sure the whole family leaves. Does your dog relax quickly after you leave? If there is any significant whining, barking, pacing, panting or destructive behaviour we can use the rest of lockdown to get on top of things before you go back to work.

14.01.2022 Lockdown tip: Give your dog fairly frequent, short, manageable separations from you while you are working from home. Close your bathroom/toilet door, or other doors if you are just going into that room for a short time.
13.01.2022 It's so cool what dogs can do for us. All I expect of Django is to clean up the floor after the kids eat dinner (and he doesn't even do that very well). I hope he reads this. https://www.goodnewsnetwork.org/dogs-joining-fight-against/
13.01.2022 Excellent advice when you’re looking for a dog trainer.
10.01.2022 A cat webinar from PPG Australia. I once had an aggression problem with my burmese due to frustration when I moved to a smaller house - a bit of enrichment and some chasing her food games and she was a pussy cat again! I bet this webinar will have a load of great advice for anyone wanting to make their cat's life happier.

08.01.2022 A few of you should find this interesting.
07.01.2022 Language warning (but worth it for the giggle).
