I prefer cash as I dont have the extra task of having to check if the payment has landed and having to chasing up. I do however also accept account transfers done by OSKO at the time of appointment. So if you have appointments with me and would like to still come in,please do so. I also appreciate if you are wanting to cancel as this is a very confusing time for all of us. Please do what is best for you and your families. In staying open I do request that if you are unwell or unsure of covid-19 exposure please reschedule. Ill be asking everyone to wash their hands upon arrival. My usual ocd cleaning level will be maintained. Please bring only yourselves. 1 person in the salon at a time including myself. To adhere to the 4msq radius. Obviously given my job I cant adhere to the 1.5mtr social distancing so if this concerns you please reschedule. In the event of closure please know that I love you all. Youve all been there for me in some of my hardest and darkest of days to support and brighten me up. 10.01.2022 So heres the post Ive been dreading. *I will be closing my doors as of midnight tomorrow, indefinitely* Im devastated and deeply saddened. ... The Studio is so many places for me. My work, my social, my happy, my emotional, my counselling, my identity. And youve all done that for me. Your support, your encouragement. You are all amazing. You all gave a chick that you didnt know a chance almost 3yrs ago and in doing that allowed me to build a business Im so very proud of today. This will pass and when it does I hope youll all come back in to sit and chat awhile. Because THAT is the best part of my job! We are all affected by this. And I cant help but think that this is a massive kick in the butt for the human race. The universe has an amazing way of waking us up when weve all been caught sleeping. Im going to use this time to reconnect with the important things. My Cherry, myself and all things not social media related. Remember to adhere to what the government is saying. It is for all of our wellbeing. We will get through this. This will pass. I love you all and I hope to see you all again after the fog lifts and were all clear and shiny bright. 06.01.2022 Hi all. I suppose this a post made because of current situations. As we are all concerned about COVID-19 and seeing society becoming a state of fear and panic, I am personally refusing to succumb to fear mongering. As most of you know I myself have a compromised immune system and on the list of high risk people but I still refuse to give into panic. ... In saying that Im a big one for common sense so: If you are unwell and unsure just reschedule. I will be on top of salon hygiene by disinfecting surfaces, door handles ect. I will do my best to have as much hand sanitiser available as possible. Hand washing often And again if possible offer face masks. These are already daily practices for me and as a professional and always have been. I will continue to trade through this pandemic and I hope that you all continue to live your lives as regularly as possible but with taking a few extra common sense precautions. Maintain your sense of community and look out for each other in the times when it counts. We as a society are only as strong as our actions. So make sure that when this crisis is over that you can hold your head high with integrity knowing that you did the right thing and not the panic thing. Mel

04.01.2022 Over the past 2 months I have had the time to make some necessary changes to my services and the cost of these services... Most pricing will be staying the same however with the ever growing Pinterest obsession I have had to restructure the way I categorise nail enhancements I can assure you these designs are not quick nor easy to do and allowing the time to do my best work is paramount to me. I do not rush or do shortcuts so prepare yourselves for longer than an in and out job of an hour or less! As of the 9th of June the new price structure and service menu will be in place. 01.01.2022 Due to covid-19 restrictions my ability to book back to back has been stopped as I need 15 minute intervals between each client. This is due to strict hygiene cleaning measures needed to keep covid at bay. So please be patient with me as I do my best to try and accommodate everyone as much as possible. And also remembering I have my girl transitioning back to school so my hours are set. Also if you are unwell or have come into contact with a covid-19 positive person please reschedule, as I am immunocompromised as well. I will have all hygiene measures in place for all of our safety during this horrible time.
