24.01.2022 Sent myself out to a vehicle salvage/pick up from Tassie. Not knowing the extent of fire damage or whether I would be able to even get the car to drive 4 hours from Hobart to Devonport. I flew down with a small bag of tools to see what I could accomplish. Well right from the very start, I had big problems, ranging from security system lock downs, to massive fuel leaks thanks to interior fire. I didn’t bring my diagnostics computer with me so I was left to good old fashioned know how. After working on the car for nearly 6 hours, I managed to get this bmw to drive relatively safe enough to get to devonport and onto the ship back to Melbourne.
