17.01.2022 Be that person! If there's ever a time to do something without a reason, let it be now! Let it be this! HELP OTHERS ... I have a strong Caregiver personality which makes me drawn to helping others. To see someone hurting affects me on a deep level. I genuinely want others to be happy and well..if I can be of service to them then I will always throw my hat in the ring. It's so important to find the line in helping others... We have to be mindful of how far we stretch ourselves. Our health, happiness and wellbeing needs to take priority. We can't pour from an empty cup so we need to ensure we are helping ourselves when needed. Kindness is always the answer. Kindness to others and to ourselves.



13.01.2022 Be proud - you've done enough! As Mum's we are always on the go. Whether it be home learning, cooking, cleaning, crafts, playing, activities, reading... We are ALWAYS on the go! Our kiddies are our priority. We live and breathe for them. We want the best for them. We want to do everything within our power to make them happy. So with this, we fall into the trap of beating ourselves up and experiencing the relentless 'mum guilt' . ... That inner mean girl voice can be so bloody brutal. We need to silence her and show her who's boss! Focus on all the amazing and selfless things you do in your day, all the acts of kindness you do, all the meals and snacks you cook, all the games you play, all the activities you set up. Don't focus on the one thing your child asked of you that resulted in you saying 'no'. Focus on the good! Tell that mean girl voice to go to hell! You're doing amazing! You've got this mumma! Tag someone below who needs to be reminded of how amazing they're doing. Share the love, support and encouragement

10.01.2022 Embrace your magic. You are you and that makes you bloody brilliant! There is no one else in this world who is you. No one else who has lived your life or walked your path. No one else who has loved like you have. No one else who has had the experiences you have. No one else who has the passions and dreams you do. This makes you full of magic. ... Stand up tall and be proud of what makes you , YOU! Be inspired to live your life authentically. Be brave and embrace all of your magic.

08.01.2022 Today is World Mental Health Day We need to shine the light on anxiety, depression and all other mental health conditions and start normalising the conversations around this. So often people are afraid to open up and speak out about their struggles, fears and experiences in this area.... I have struggled with anxiety and depression from a very young age..some days are easier than others. Some techniques work better than some. Certain people can get through to me over others. This year my mental health has hit me for a six. It has literally felt like a tonne of bricks holding me down. But thanks to a few very special and supportive people in my life I have been able to get back into a standing position. This year has shown me that not only is it ok to speak up about these struggles, it is absolutely necessary! It paves the way for others who feel silenced, ashamed, alone and afraid. We need to support one another and be the voice of those who can't use their own in the meantime. Check in with others. Drop them a text and see how they are.
