22.01.2022 It took a huge amount of self-belief to make the film this way and huge amount of support from the Queer community, who I made this film for. Director of Ellie & Abbie (& Ellie’s Dead Aunt), Monica Zanetti, partly crowdfunded her latest feature, which allowed her to ensure queer representation across the cast and crew. Ellie & Abbie screened as a MIFF 68 Program Spotlight. Watch our full post-screening Q&A with Zanetti, co-stars Terakes and Sophie Hawkshaw and MIFF Program...mer Kate Fitzpatrick. Presented by Up Banking
