16.01.2022 Daily Victoria Update: As of 10 July 2020, the total number of coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Victoria is 3,379, with 288 new cases since yesterday’s report. The overall total has increased by 281, with seven cases reclassified, largely due to duplication. Of the new cases, 26 are linked to outbreaks and 262 remain under investigation. No case has been detected in a returned traveller in hotel quarantine.... 509 cases have been acquired in Australia where the source of infection is unknown. 47 people are in hospital, including 12 patients in intensive care. 22 people have died, no increase since yesterday’s report. 2,183 people have recovered. Of the total cases, 3,002 are from metropolitan Melbourne and 272 are from regional Victoria. More than 1,068,000 test results have been received by the department since 1 January 2020.

Chief Health Officer Alerts will continue to be issued when there are changes to the public health advice related to coronavirus (COVID-19) . As of 8 July 2020, the total number of coronavirus (COVID-19) c...ases in Victoria is 2,942, with 134 new cases since yesterday’s report. The overall total has increased by 118, with 16 reclassified, largely due to duplication. Of the new cases, 11 are linked to outbreaks and 123 remain under investigation. No case has been detected in a returned traveller in hotel quarantine. 456 cases have been acquired in Australia where the source of infection is unknown. 41 people are in hospital, including seven patients in intensive care. 22 people have died, no increase since yesterday’s report. 2058 people have recovered. Of the total 2,942 cases, there have been 2,575 in metropolitan Melbourne and 263 in regional Victoria. Several cases remain under investigation. More than 1,000,000 test results have been received by the department since 1 January 2020.
