24.01.2022 Coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions Victoria We are ALL responsible for winning this fight. Come-on Victorians, together, we can do this. If you live in metropolitan Melbourne or Mitchell Shire, Stage 3 Stay at Home restrictions mean there will once again only be 4 reasons for you to leave home:... ===>> Shopping for food and supplies ===>> Medical care and caregiving ===>> Exercise and recreation ===>> Study and work if you cant do it from home What you need to keep doing: ** practice good hygiene ** maintain physical distancing, keep at least 1.5 metres away from others ** understand the risk and symptoms ** help continue to slow the spread of COVID-19 by getting tested, even if you have mild symptoms ** stay home and avoid contact if youre feeling unwell ** take care wherever you go, assume others may be carrying the virus https://www.facebook.com/VictoriaTogether/videos/1036826513386335/?t=0

21.01.2022 COVID-19 Update MCSA noted the recent FFA decision (1/4) to extend the suspension of grassroots football competitions and associated training until at least the 31st of May 2020. The decision is in light of the ongoing developments including stricter measures imposed by the Federal & State Governments in response to COVID-19. MCSA understands that reducing community gatherings would help slow the spread of the virus and that this was the driving factor in the decision to ext...end the suspension period. It is very regrettable that grassroots community football will not proceed for the next month (and perhaps for an extended period), but as a responsible association, we recognize that we have a role to play in slowing the spread of the virus. Accordingly, MCSA has suspended our 2020 winter season until the 9th of June when we will reassess the situation. We will continue to communicate new MCSA developments as appropriate. Please, observe all personal hygiene practices and social distancing. Stay safe and look out for each other. If you dont feel well, seek medical assistance. Do this to protect yourself, your loved ones, and the community in general.

21.01.2022 EID Mubarak Keep well. Stay safe. Look out for each other. Be responsible. Do your bit. Only together we can defeat COVID-19.

07.01.2022 COVID-19 Update MCSA noted the recent FFA decision to suspend grassroots football competitions and associated training until after the Easter break. This decision comes as the latest in a series of measures being introduced by the FFA to combat the ongoing spread of COVID-19 and places the concerns, health, and wellbeing of the Australian football and wider community as the highest priority.... Significantly, the federal and state governments have now imposed strict guidelines on social gatherings and community sports-related activities. MCSA understands that reducing community gatherings would help slow the spread of the virus and that this was the driving factor in the above decisions and bans. We support the immediate suspension of competitions and any form of training during this time. Accordingly, MCSA has suspended our 2020 winter season until after Easter when we will reassess the situation. We are keeping up to date with, and adhering to, the restrictions and guidelines from both the federal and state governments, as well as recommendations from the World Health Organisation (WHO), the Australian Chief Medical Officer, and the FFA concerning the COVID 19 virus. It is very regrettable that grassroots community football will not proceed for the next month (and perhaps for an extended period), but as a responsible association, we recognize that we have a role to play in slowing the spread of the virus. We will continue to communicate new MCSA developments as appropriate. Please, observe all personal hygiene practices, stay safe and look out for each other. If you dont feel well, seek medical assistance. Do this to protect yourself, your loved ones, and the community in general.
