15.01.2022 Stage Four COVID restrictions announced today by Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews will affect some Landscaping Businesses within our Membership. LVML will continue to provide updates to our members as new information comes to hand. Based on the Premier's statement, our understanding is that:... The following landscaping services CAN CONTINUE to operate in metropolitan Melbourne with increased restrictions Residential Construction remains open - with a limit of five workers on site, effective midnight Friday 7th August Commercial Construction remains open - with the workforce to be scaled down to 25% of the normal workforce on site, effective midnight Friday 7th August for larger sites, or for smaller sites a maximum of five workers on site Hardware suppliers remain open - with contactless delivery/pick up required from 11.59pm Wednesday 5th August. Please check with your suppliers to see if/how they will continue to operate. A permit system will be implemented for workers - further details will be released in the coming days. The following landscaping services in metropolitan Melbourne MUST CLOSE for the duration of the Stage Four lockdown Domestic Gardening and Garden Maintenance services. Other Landscaping Services Currently it is unclear whether the following services can continue or not. We will be contacting the appropriate Government Department for clarity and will advise as soon as possible: Commercial Garden Maintenance Services Design Services - for client visits and/or site visits on projects underway Full details via Member Newsflash.
