29.11.2021 I had not announced this but last week I was on line with JKA HQ Japan for my 4th Dan examination. I did not know the result until I got the call today, 4th Dan pass. For ever this grading will be my Sensei's grading. We put in the hard work but it was his guidance, tuition, beleif and encouragement that got us there. Takatasu Nishimura Sensei was not able to be there for our grading but I felt his spirit with me, RIP Shihan and thank-you.

24.10.2021 It is with a heavy heart and sadness I have to inform my fellow karateka and students that my mentor, teacher and truly humble karateka Nishimura Shihan 7th Dan and Chief Instructor of JKA Australia has passed away last night. My deepest condolences to Takaatsu Nishimura 's family and all my fellow Karateka who share this deep sense of loss. Until the end, he was doing what he loved, on Saturday last he was teaching a few of us in a park and you could see how happy he was practising and passing his knowledge on, this man taught me true karate and I will forever be grateful. He was the most humble & giving karateka I have ever met. I was supposed to see my Sensei tonight but I will have to wait before I will see you again. Oss Sensei you will always be alive in my heart and teaching .
