21.01.2022 Heres another free acting class we did during the lockdown. Many acting exercises involve touching, moving, creating things by moving around etc. This exercise takes it all away and ask the question, what if for any reason you couldnt physically move? What if you couldnt move due to technical reasons like camera movements, or you couldnt move because of your costume or prosthetics? This exercise teaches you what youre capable of creating just by using your mind. Its a skill and a craft, but once you master it you can use it on many different settings. A very powerful exercise. It takes YEARS and CONSISTENCY to train and build an actors body! Just like an athlete, and just like AN OPERA SINGER! Look at this , theyre constantly training and conditioning their body ! ARE YOU ? Its what Stella Adler would call - neck up acting which sadly fills most of our films today . If other artists do it , so should you !!

Film crews can be quite intimidating to an actor, we turn up and are surrounded by people running around everywhere. It helps to know where you fit in as an actor, and what part of the process you are brought into a project.
