Many of us are facing eviction right now. Real Estate Agencies and landlords continue to find loopholes, and continue to breach the Residential Tenancy Act with illegal evictions. Millions of us have no income and no access to financial support. What for them? Deferral without amnesty only deepens the crisis. What happens in 6 months time Dan Andrews? 11.01.2022 After 10 months of vibrant community use of the Melbourne Anarchist Club space in Northcote, a couple of 'manarchists' and a few of their supporters, have intentionally rendered the space unusable, and evicted several community groups (such as SWAK & Food Not Bombs) from the space. We, amongst many others in the anarchist community in Narrm (Melbourne) are working towards an accessible community-controlled space, housing community-controlled resources, to support grassroots ...movements and campaigns including indigenous and international solidarity work. We are saddened by the cancellation of events, workshops, meetings & fundraisers over the past few weeks.
