20.01.2022 Sunset beach walks

19.01.2022 Dear valued clients! We are still open as essential care for our animals You can travel further than 5km for essential care for animals in stage 4 restrictions We are following strict DHHS cleaning and hygiene procedures to keep staff and clients safe... Thankyou for your ongoing support for us!

17.01.2022 Luckiest Physio ever. Beautiful Mimi presented today with hindlimb weakness, just 3 weeks old and the sweetest little lamb.

14.01.2022 Well here we are again Melbourne. We want to assure everyone that we are STILL OPEN for the Physiotherapy care of your beloved pets during the next stage of restrictions, due to the medical nature of our practice. Their well-being is of utmost importance. We have strict hygiene standards in place, and please only one owner per pet.

13.01.2022 When your clients are so relaxed after their Physio, they don’t want to move!! I think we all need a massage at this point in time, like lucky Charlie! He enjoys his monthly Physio sessions to keep him mobile and injury free following spinal surgery.

12.01.2022 This is Jax, a very sweet 8 month old Moodle 6 weeks post femoral head and neck excision following hip fracture. He is doing superb, walking 30min on slow leash twice daily, and weekly hydro. The best way to avoid problems later in life is to rehabilitate properly with the right advice from the start. Well done Jax!!

12.01.2022 Some dogs get lucky

11.01.2022 Some more Lamb Spam, just because she is so cute!! Mimi presented much better today, and is nearly ready to be re homed!

05.01.2022 Mimi had her last appointment at the physio today. Thank you so much to Lauren from Melbourne Animal Physiotherapy for helping Mimi to progress from having difficulty walking to happily running and jumping now like a normal little lamb. Mimi loved the massage part of her therapy!

04.01.2022 I have to admit this has to be the best balance training for our 4 legged friends!! So impressive!

03.01.2022 This is Pablo, a lovely 3 year old Italian greyhound who fractured his radius/ulnar after leaping from the kitchen bench. After surgery and some Physio, Pablo is back to walking on all 4 legs again! The hard part is slowing him down

01.01.2022 A very important point to take on in this article- not to over exercise your pets while you have the extra time at home. My advice is always to increase no more than 10% activity a week, keep leash walks consistent, and if you have the time, aim for 2-3 shorter walks rather than one really long one. When our pets gets tired legs, they are more likely to get injured from a simple jump or change of direction. A reminder we are still open and operating usual hours during stage 4, as essential Physio care for your pets, and you can travel more than 5km for these appointments. Our text message is all you need to demonstrate this.
