25.01.2022 Meet our 2015 Artist Award winner, Bill Henson. Melbourne-born contemporary artist, Bill Henson is an artist of ferocious integrity, a photographer of the human condition and an experimenter of remarkable skill and conviction. Hensons work is to be found in every major public collection in Australia, as well as numerous overseas collections including Bibliotheque Nationale de Paris, Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York, and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

22.01.2022 Meet our 2015 Young Artist Award winner, Daniel Boyd. Daniel Boyd is an artist of considerable talent, with a deeply informed creative vision. Boyd, a proud member of the Kudjla/Gangalu people of Far North Queensland, is recognised for his interrogation of colonisation and Eurocentric perspectives on Australian history, and was recently included in the 2015 Venice Biennale All the Worlds Futures, curated by Okwui Enwezor.

Joining Schwartz on the board is Wemba-Wemba and Gunditjmara woman, Paola Balla, an ...artist, curator, and writer who founded the Indigenous Arts and Cultural Program at FCAC and Wominjeka Festival, 2010. More recently Balla curated 'Sovereignty' at ACCA - Australian Centre for Contemporary Art, an exhibition focusing on contemporary art of First Nations peoples of South East Australia alongside keynote historical works. 04.01.2022 Meet our 2015 Visionary Award winner, John Kaldor AM. John Kaldor AM is a dedicated collector, patron and supporter of contemporary art. He has been collecting and commissioning art since the late 1950s, and since 1969 has shared his love of art with the Australian public through his series of art projects. In 2011, Kaldor donated his private collection of over 200 works to the Art Gallery of New South Wales, making it the most significant single donation of art to a public gallery in Australias history.
