23.01.2022 With the fear of coronavirus, anxiety, hypochondria and panic attacks are accentuating and increasing ,especially in people who already suffer from these disorders. Minimal physical ailments are mistaken for symptoms of Covid-19 disease, fueling a vicious cycle. The perception of risk is distorted and amplified until it leads to angst and panic. Having fear is ok but not generalized anxiety or panic. I recommend people who find themselves in this condition to seek professional help.

11.01.2022 In light of the unprecedented coronavirus pandemic, some people may feel overwhelmed, anxious and very fearful. I would like o give my support by offering one free counselling session each day to the first person who messages me. With warm concern and support for all affected. Ermanno

02.01.2022 The virus, this minuscule parasite, has given us the possibility to slow down, to stop the busyness with no real meaning and to be still. The rushing, the lack of air, the apnea, the absence of pauses between breaths, the anxieties, have made us deeply sick. We lost contact with our heartbeat, we had no idea where the heart had gone. We have time now to feel the pulsations of the heart again and listen to its messages. Time to breath slowly, to be curious and have the experience of just resting and BEING.

27.12.2021 Breathing in, I am aware of my body. Breathing out, I am aware of my body. I know my body is there. This brings the mind wholly back to the body. Mind and bo...dy become one reality. When your mind is with your body, you are well-established in the here and the now. You are fully alive. You can be in touch with the wonders of life that are available in yourself and around you. ~Thich Nhat Hanh

14.12.2021 In these last 2 years, life has been crazy, chaotic and governed by a lot of fear. From this fear-base, people are struggling with their pain and dysfunction. ...There’s a deep division and fracture in society, there’s anger, madness, anxiety, a sense of gloom and depression. The quality of life, in general, is severely reduced. We can’t keep life on hold. We have to go back and live with lightness. If we lose joy, we lose life. Living lightly means being at peace with ourselves, letting go of guilt, remorse, regret, brooding and ruminating. Life is a terminal condition, having this in mind gives us tremendous freedom. Let’s live life now, enjoy what it offers us, rather than postpone choices to a later date!

02.10.2021 The 3 years since this MRI was published by scientists at Stanford Medicine and the Stevens Institute of Technology on brain movements during nasal breathing ha...ve brought many exciting and actionable findings. Here are a few: Inhales increase heart rate Exhales slow heart rate Physiological sighs (double nasal maximum inhale, followed by full mouth exhale) are the fastest way to calm A single (!) 10 min breathing session can rewire vagal tone Nasal breathing is best almost all of the time for health, performance and aesthetics of the face. (Of course, there are times when mouth breathing is better- in certain sports, etc.) Cyclic hyperventilation (deliberate) can raise stress threshold and potently reduce inflammation via adrenaline The utility of breath holds is still debated, although it may just be useful for enhancing diaphragmatic mind-muscle control.
