18.01.2022 It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Melbourne Bowling Club member Doug Wood who passed unexpectedly over the New Year period. Doug led a remarkable life full of achievement and adventure. He was a friend to all and was respected not only throughout Australia, but also internationally. Doug was a former Iraq hostage. He will be missed and our thoughts are with his family and friends, especially his dear mate President Rick.... Two high quality games with the Women's final coming down to a last bowl finish. We wish both Champions the best in the Sandbelt Championships.

12.01.2022 Gregory Rocky Hogan It is with deep sadness that Melbourne Bowling Club informs everyone of the passing of long time and much loved friend and member Gregory Rocky Hogan. Rocky served the Club on Committees and Boards as well as selection Committees and was always there to help around the Club.... Rocky worked tirelessly around the Club and was always about with his cheeky smile. In this strange and uncertain time in our lives we unfortunately will not be able to gather together to show our respect for our dear friend but let’s all take some time to reflect on the Rock and perhaps contact one another to share not only our thoughts for him but our friendship for each other. We’ll all miss you dear Mate RIP Gregory Rocky Hogan
