24.01.2022 @melbournebraiding is a black owned business designed to provide braiding services to black customers. Over the past year I have received a number of direct messages from non black people who are interested in getting braids, I will not participate in or condone cultural appropriation, especially that of black culture, because I believe It is extremely harmful and offensive. In the past I have not made this clear and have had to do the hard work to see if a customer is sui...table for me. So, here Is my clarification! Although, some may see this as jeopardising my business name and reputation, I believe I am simply creating a transparent environment.
