16.01.2022 Why do they assume we don’t love our horses? We spend more money on them than we do on ourselves. We spend hours every day caring for them wether they are working or at the farm. They get on average 24 days off per month in the paddock- we don’t. We don’t get a single day off, we have to feed them and care for them every single day. They eat and drink before we do. They don’t go without anything. We wouldn’t do this job if we didn’t love our horses. They are not just work horses. They are our family. They are our life.

15.01.2022 It’s been a while since we have posted. With all this animal rights extremist attention all over the news I just wanted to add something. These extremists are the same people who harass us. They come to our work place, hold signs in our faces, abuse our customers and staff and harass our staff members. They intimidate us. They have been doing this to us for years!!!! Today they have caused havoc in Melbourne. They have delayed thousands of people on their way to work, appo...intments, disrupted 11 tram lines, made people late for doctors appointments. They have now also chained themselves to the front of the aquarium. Last week they broke into a farm and over a hundred of them intimidated and harnessed a hard working family and their staff in their home. Their 5 children at home had to endure the abuse from these extremists. They broke into the Gippy goat cafe they stole livestock, harassed, trespassed and damaged property. They have forced the Gippy goat cafe to close its doors due to the constant harassment. Why do they feel the need to do this? If people want to be vegan that’s fine do it. If you don’t want to eat meat don’t eat it. If you don’t want to go to the aquarium don’t go. Don’t go on a carriage ride. STOP FORCING YOUR IDEOLOGIES ONTO OTHER PEOPLE!! Something has to change!!!! We need to apply pressure so they know the public want us to stay!... Even if it’s just a short email saying you think they add character to the city, you enjoy patting the horses and can’t wait to go on another ride with your family or let them know you went on a ride recently and really enjoyed it, the horses were very well behaved and it was a great experience.
