22.01.2022 Thanks to Marco and Hobsons Bay City Council with their Working For Victoria team, the Edwards Reserve Pavilion has had a face lift ready for a restart Both inside and outside has been painted completely and this week it will have a number of maintenance fixes and a final clean of the changeroom and showers

05.01.2022 This week we are all Back! But we still have some covidsafe rules to follow TUESDAY BBQ and cold drinks - 6pm onwards... Training times: Miniroos - 5:30pm - 6:30pm Social Women - 6pm - 7pm Senior Men - 7pm - 9pm THURSDAY Training times: Senior Men - 7pm - 9pm With restrictions easing, the club will fire up the BBQ on Tuesdays, as long as the club can maintain the restriction on public gatherings of 50 people This means Miniroos may enjoy the BBQ from 630-7, the women may enjoy the BBQ from 7 til 730 and the men can enjoy the BBQ after 9pm to ensure each team will remain under 50pax Other COVIDSAFE terms to follow -Clubrooms and changerooms remain closed, except for 1 toilet. Please arrive already in your training gear -Please scan the QR code on arrival and register on the Covidsafe register -Sanitize your hands regularly -Maintain your 1.5m social distancing -Keep your mask on when arriving at the club until you are ready to start, or if congregating to talk with others (while not training) -Please bring your own water bottles, filled We look forward to seeing everyone back this week! 03.01.2022 *** OPEN LETTER TO FOOTBALL VICTORIA *** Dear Executive committee at Football Victoria On Monday November 23rd a letter was sent to FV via email, (see letter attached) approved by over 70 clubs, listing their concerns about the refunds offered by FV and demand for payment of player registration fees for a season that did not go ahead in 2020. ... On Friday November 27th a follow up email was sent. At this stage we have not received acknowledgement of receipt of the email nor have we received a time to meet. You now leave us little choice but to request local and state government assistance in procuring this meeting to work through the refund issues noted in the letter. Please note that we are not going away and will not be making any sort of payment until a mutually agreed solution is reached.
