19.01.2022 So last night saw the completion of our 2019/20 Summer season with some top quality games & close contests which I believe resulted in a win for Oztag in Melbourne. I’d like to say a big thank you to all teams/players involved. It is always good to see old teams returning as well as new teams entering each season to give Oztag a go. Your continued support of this game helps keep me motivated to push for more growth within this State. I hope to see you all back next season!... A bigger thank you has to go to my referees who show up for me every week & allow this sport to be played by more & more players each season. Referees don’t often get the credit they deserve but they are the ones out there making the calls that 95% of our competitions wouldn’t make. Whether you agree with their decisions or not, without them this game would not exist so please make an effort to thank them after every game. Finally, I hope to see you all at Royals trials in the near future [dates TBC] so that we can continue to build stronger teams to go away & compete at the National level!!
