12.01.2022 If you liked this video and watched through, maybe leave a comment with your answers to these questions: > What does grep let you do? > What was 'ed' (Eee Dee)?... > What is known as a "Regular Expression"? > What coding language was 'ed' written in? > What does the 'g' in 'grep' stand for and how does that relate to a coding environment? > What else has Ken Thompson contributed to computer science? > look at this text: 1.Melbourne CC members are right into our computers 2.electronics, mechanics and any other things that can come 3.together to allow us to create amazing things. 4. 5.Some of us work in these fields during the day(or night), but 6.many of us just enjoy creating what's possible when we 7.have time. 8. 9.We're a group of all ages, abilities, cultures and professions 10.brought together by our interest in tech. 11.We love COVID19 and staying in isolation. So what input command would you use to remove that last, horrible, untrue line of content if this was a text file in 'ed'? https://youtu.be/NTfOnGZUZDk

08.01.2022 Jaycar member discounts. As I announced in tonight's meeting, club members are now eligible for the trade discount at Jaycar. The amount varies with different product, going to as much, I believe, as 40% on certain products. It may take a few days for the Jaycar system to propagate the arrangement to all stores - I am frankly not sure how that works. So hang off a couple of days, then take your Melbourne PC User Group membership card with you.
