25.01.2022 A message from Lee Gordon - O'Brien Icehouse General Manager To our valued ice sports community, Thank you for your patience and commitment as we continue to ne...gotiate around and prepare for the reopening of the Icehouse. I’m sorry that this process is taking time to resolve. Due to the ongoing uncertainty around the restrictions and their impact, combined with the costs associated with re-opening the facility, O’Brien Group Australia has been in discussions with the State Government regarding assistance and clarification of our future business and operating model. This will ensure that the venue is in a position to continue to support the community in a similar manner as to prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our discussions with the Government are progressing and to this stage have been very positive. We hope we will be in position to provide an update in the near future. Part of our reopening process includes the restoration of the ice a process which takes 20 days. I would like to take this opportunity to once again thank the whole ice sports community for your loyalty and ongoing support during these challenging times. The team and I look forward to welcoming you all back to the Icehouse in the near future. Lee Gordon General Manager

16.01.2022 Cancellation - National Development Camps Jan 2021 COVID-19 has again affected one of IHA's key activities being our National Development Camps. In addition to ...the continuing uncertainty around travel due to travel restrictions, the limitations on numbers allowed for group accommodation has meant that we are unable to run the January camps for 2021. While this is disappointing news, we are excited to announce we will be running 'virtual camps' for both age groups. The camps will be hosted online in the weeks from 3rd January to 18th January 2021. Exact dates and details will soon be available. The virtual camps will be free of charge to attend, and we are looking forward to bringing you some amazing development tools, information and resources. The camp will be open to all players in the age categories for the camps. If you have any questions, please contact Ice Hockey Australia via [email protected].

12.01.2022 Junior Summer League 2020/2021 Registration is now open https://www.icehq.com.au/junior-hockey With the overwhelming success of our previous Junior Leagues, we ...will be continuing into a Summer 2020/2021 season. For players aged 15 years and under, with multiple divisions including a development level for new players aged 9 and under. Hire gear is available if needed. Teams will be mixed gender based on age and skill level. The cost for the season’s games will be $290 (includes full insurance). Our junior league is coached by some of the top level ice hockey players in the country. With coaching oversight across the league, to ensure broad and consistent skill development for all players and teams, we will be maintaining the league’s culture of respect and anti-bulling. We highly recommend players also enrol in the Junior League Training on Wednesday nights 7.30pm-8.30pm beginning with a four week term on the 25th of November. General skating, freestyle, S...tick n Puck, and Junior hockey training sessions are available for you to book online at www.icehq.com.au Please read our terms and conditions of entry to understand the manner in which we will be operating. Our Pro shop is now open 10am-5pm every day, with skate sharpening also available. The recent announcement by the Victorian Government, allowing fitness sessions, has provided an opportunity for iceHQ to open with heavy restrictions. Exert from the announcement: Indoor (non contact) fitness, including indoor gyms to resume with: Density quotient of 1 per 8sqm and patron cap of 10 per space (max 10 per group/class), cap of 20 per venue Controls such as recommendation to wear face masks, limit on shared equipment, time between groups and requirement for a COVID Safe marshal on site We are committed to providing a safe environment for all skaters and look forward to expanding our schedule once restrictions permit.
