24.01.2022 Aussies! The Melbourne Documentary Film Festival has been extended online and is continuing until August 2nd. The Boys Who Said NO! can be viewed ONLY in Austra...lia at https://bit.ly/3g1SjVg There will soon be opportunities to view the film in many other countries, including the U.S. In the meantime, for more information and to view clips from this compelling documentary, go to www.boyswhosaidno.com This film is the untold story of resistance to the Vietnam War. In the 1960s young Americans faced a military draft that pulled a thousand men a day off the streets and sent them into combat, but the war soon proved brutal and senseless. Inspired by the courage and moral witness of Black Americas nonviolent freedom struggle, draft resisters openly defied the call to report to duty, risking arrest and prison to ignite opposition to the war. The story is told in startling archival footage and accompanied by the iconic music of the day. Directed by Oscar-nominated Judith Ehrlich, the film features Muhammad Ali, David Harris, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Pentagon whistleblower Daniel Ellsberg and, of course, Joan Baez.

22.01.2022 IMAGE OF VICTORY Writer/Director/Producer Adi Mishnayot: 2014. Israel is at war in Gaza again. Uri, an Israeli soldier wounded on the battlefield, finds himself turned into a war hero by the visitors in the hospital. Now he and his family have to deal with his rehabilitation as well as newfound stardom. One familys hardship turned public spectacle offers an inside look into Israeli society and the way war as a state-of-mind is shaping it as a nation...'You should watch Image... of Victory if you want to know how nations use war glorification as a political device, to see a female perspective on a macho society and a peek behind the curtain of culture pertaining to military pursuits in Israel. If you are interested in the Israeli Palestinian conflict and want to see it from a unique inside perspective, or if you want to laugh and cry with my family during the hardest and strangest time we had to face in the summer of 2014.'

06.01.2022 I wanted to recreate the same trajectory I had in my discovery journey the rabbit hole, the jumping from one band to another, the passion of the fans, the ne...ed to know more about the people making the music. I just wanted them to feel the nostalgia, like I did. The atmosphere it creates and how it works when it hits you. I wasnt interested in telling how this music is done, and all the technicalities behind it, the film is about embracing the feeling. Thanks to Beat Magazine for the article The film is still available for streaming right across Australia till 2nd August at Melbourne Documentary Film Festival
