13.01.2022 Bonnie is a 14 year old Burmese. She has iris cysts, which are not uncommon in this breed. They are thin walled cysts that arise from the back of the iris - you can see them protruding through the pupil. We have been monitoring her eye pressure and so far she has been going well.

02.01.2022 Hey... We saw eye specialist Dr Chloe at Melbourne EyeVet today... Meeloh & Peta say... Continue with daily Maxidex eyedrops to keep irritation away for Meeloh...... Dr Chloe confirmed our fears that his luxating patella has gotten much worse with his 4kg of weight loss oh no... Maxidex & Tacrolimus eyedrops to keep Peta’s pigmentary keratitis at bay.... One drop of each twice a day.... Meeloh reports he didn’t huff and puff at all during his consult.... Proving his specialist airway surgery performed has had amazing results... Peta reports it’s now time to find a furever home... Of her very own... Meeloh & Peta xxx In Pug Rescue foster care. Help, help, help! With every distressing breath Meeloh used to constantly yelp... Whilst turning blue... And holding his breath too... 4kg in weight loss, pus infected ears treated, eye infections treated and Specialist airway surgery by Dr Ricky Cashmore from VSSA - folded palatoplasty to shorten and thin Meeloh’s extremely long and extremely thick palate done... With Dr Ricky telling us Meeloh was in the top 5 of worst breathing and excessively long soft palate ones.... Now a high grade luxating patella to repair with surgery is on Meeloh’s transformation list.... If only people would stop breeding such genetically faulty pugs would be our wish... In Pug Rescue foster care Peta has lost 4kg of obesity weight... Along with undergoing behavioural training including not snatching food when she’s fed and how to be handled as well as getting along with other pug mates... Her horrendous breathing was corrected at Knox Vet Clinic when Specialist surgeon Dr Ricky of Veterinary Specialist Surgery Australia performed a folded palatoplasty to shorten and thin Peta’s soft palate and a tonsillectomy to remove Peta’s enlarged tonsils as well.... Peta thinks being able to breath better is swell... A major dental by Dr Sam at Knox Vet done... Now time to find a new dad & mum...
